I produce one-off, thought provoking, figurative ceramics, best described as illustration in clay. Initially inspired by a visit to the Museum of Childhood, fairy tales, nursery rhymes and childhood memories merge into 'toylike' figures conveying thoughts, feelings or loose narratives,  which are open to interpretation.  Recent work  explores themes from Greek Myths in a more naturalistic style.
